Tuesday, January 17th at 1:00 pm ET we will be hosting our 2023 Market Outlook Webinar where we will take a look back to the year that was 2022, where we currently stand heading into 2023, and the themes that we feel will dominate the digital asset industry. Spoiler Alert: We are optimistic and looking forward to 2023.
Crypto natives may not like it but there is a realization that most users will need to trust to some degree an intermediary. Traditional Finance professionals may not like it, but public decentralized blockchain technology will completely disrupt their business models and create new trust models.
Since our last edition of Digital Asset Friday more has come to light on the degree of fraud committed at FTX, more dominos have continued to fall with Genesis Trading on the brink of collapse, and to no one’s surprise digital assets have severely underperformed equities.
The last 12 days have been extremely trying for so many people in a lot of different ways. Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern for me, the team at Arbor Digital, and our clients. In this edition we will look to accomplish a few things: Review the three biggest misconceptions of recent events, relay an important message regarding Arbor Digital and Gemini, and finish with some resources to answer the questions of ‘How did we get here?’ and ‘What to look for moving forward?’.
